Its resonance-optimized chassis shape is based on the proven success of Clearaudio’s three-point design — a combination of Panzerholz, aluminum layers, and aluminum pods. The Innovation Compact Wood uses Clearaudio’s patented CMB (Ceramic Magnetic Bearing) technology, where the platter magnetically levitates on an inverted bearing attached to a low-friction ceramic shaft. The high-torque DC motor is equipped with electronic OSC (Optical Speed Control). The high-density, dynamically balanced 2.75″ polyoxymethylene (POM) platter provides excellent dimensional stability. The Clearaudio Concept packages bring the magic of optimum value in vinyl sound reproduction. The Performance DC’s main composite chassis consists of a specific density wood core sandwiched between two massive anodized aluminum plates. A band of polished silver aluminum is wrapped around the plinth’s core, giving the Performance DC an elegant and modern look. The powerful and smooth-running DC motor is mounted to the composite main chassis and is effectively decoupled for enhanced dynamic range. The motor and belt are hidden from view, protected from dust and UV. They drive a precision machined aluminum sub-platter coupled to a 40mm thick polyoxymethylene (POM) platter, supported by Clearaudio’s patented CMB (Ceramic Magnetic Bearing). The DC package comes with the Clarify tonearm and Virtuoso V2 MM cartridge and available in either Black with Silver Chassis or Black on Black either way, the Performance DC package is a terrific value!

The Concept Wood turntable furthers the sonic excellence of the award-winning Concept turntable. The Concept Wood uses a baltic birch, constrained layer plinth that is both visually attractive and sonically rich and smooth. The aluminum machined sub-platter and rear-mounted fine speed adjustments are an upgrade from the original Concept design. The Concept Wood is equipped with the Satisfy Black tonearm, which features a 3-point mechanical bearing, magnetic anti-skate, and hard-wired tonearm cable. You can upgrade to the Satisfy Carbon Fiber tonearm for enhanced musicality and imaging. A high-quality Clearaudio moving magnet (Concept MM) or moving coil (Concept MC) cartridge can be pre-mounted to complete this setup. The Concept is belt-driven by a low-noise, decoupled DC motor built into the baltic birch plinth. The platter is made of 30mm-thick polymer (POM), an engineering thermoplastic with a weighted rim for increased fly-wheel effect, providing greater speed stability. The Concept Wood plays at three speeds – 33rpm, 45rpm, and 78rpm – selectable by an Electronic Speed Control knob. The innovative Magnify tonearm uses a unique, low-friction hybrid ball bearing/magnetic pivot assembly, providing a new level of performance for tonearms in its price range. The Magnify features a carbon fiber arm tube which reduces resonance for enhanced clarity. The Magnify’s precision-machined aluminum headshell features adjustable azimuth. Additionally, fine adjustments for vertical tracking force (VTF), anti-skate, and bearing damping assures the most accurate phono cartridge setup. The Magnify is internally wired with Clearaudio’s best Six Stream cable, as found on their Statement TT-1 tonearm. The Satisfy CF (Carbon Fiber) tonearm features high-quality, handmade Swiss vertical and lateral bearings composed of polished sapphire. A carbon fiber arm tube is exceptionally rigid and reduces resonance for enhanced clarity. A two-piece aluminum headshell with adjustable azimuth allows the accurate alignment of any phono cartridge type. Anti-skating control is applied by an innovative magnetic system that acts on the side of the bearing housing. Clearaudio’s hardwired Direct Wire tonearm cable assures signal integrity, ideal for all high-quality cartridges, including low-output moving coils. Rega’s design philosophy extends further than ever before with advanced components built around our radical new plinth design. Featuring the brand new RB2000 tonearm, a ceramic flywheel effect platter and the custom RP10 power supply (allowing total control and accuracy over both motor vibration and speed performance) guarantee the highest level of performance from a Rega turntable to date. The RP10 represents probably the biggest step forward in the evolution of Roy Gandy’s turntable design philosophies. Low mass, high rigidity plinths combined with electronically controlled low vibration motors, high flywheel effect platters and lower mass higher stability tonearms.Housed in Rega's custom design case is a brand new advanced anti vibration and speed control circuit dedicated to running the 24v low noise motor. The speed and control of the motor is achieved by using a new DSP (digital signal processing) generator built upon a high stability crystal. The device will divide the accurate square wave from the crystal to the exact frequency required to turn the platter at the selected speed. The RB2000 tonearm is packed with new features pushing the boundaries of tonearm design. As with all Rega tonearms, each one is meticulously hand built by a team of highly skilled technicians. The RB2000 uses improved bearings with each one being hand selected to be an interference fit with the paired spindle matching both the inside and outside diameters. This is a Rega developed method of increasing the amount of detail retrieved from the record surface, designed specifically to maximise performance of the tonearm and cartridge. The entire tonearm structure is designed to have the minimum of mechanical joints whilst using the stiffest materials in all critical areas. The tolerance of the RB2000 tonearm is so tight that no adhesive is used at any point throughout the construction. A brand new low mass, precision engineered, vertical bearing assembly has been manufactured to further compliment the inherent design philosophy of the RP10 turntable.

The Apheta 2 is the second generation of Rega's unique moving coil cartridges. Taking the technology developed from the first Apheta to the next level, our engineers have fine tuned every aspect of the original design. Apheta 2 features a super high-powered, neodymium magnet and a coil meticulously hand wound on an iron cross that is fifty percent smaller than the original. This weight reduction allows us greater freedom to track the vinyl groove ensuring even more detail is extracted from the vinyl. To further enhance the design, the Apheta 2 is housed within a completely redesigned, single piece, aluminium anodised body and protected by a CAD designed, clear rigid cover to protect the internal fine wires, making handling whilst fitting, safe and risk free. The entire production department was overhauled at great expense to introduce the Apheta 2 MC.
